Lybster Harbour
Caithness is renowned for its unusual light and extraordinary skies, remarkable coastline and spectacular countryside. The infamous John O’Groats is a 40 minute drive, where there are daily ferries along the coast and regular sailings to Orkney. Why not visit the Castle of Mey? Lovingly restored by the late Queen Elizabeth, Queen Mother. The Dunbeath Heritage Centre and Pulteney Distillery in Wick are among many of the local visitor attractions in Caithness.
